MICROFIBER

The use of microfiber requires less chemicals, minimizes laundry, and reduces the number of bacteria by 99%, whereas a conventional cleaning material reduces this number only by 33%. Their electrostatic properties give them a high dust-attracting power.

THE WAY FORWARD

Leading the Conversation.

One of the best ways to reduce the impact on the environment is to assist our clients in building and running more responsible buildings. We enjoy working with our tenants and property managers, assisting them in creating their environmental Action Plan or to become LEED® certified. In 2014 we plan on initiating the conversation with our asset managers that will encourage them to review their environmental objectives and goals and collaborate together in ways they can be seen as leader in their industry.

Bio-renewable Chemicals

The next generation of sustainable chemicals will be Bio-renewable. Instead of petroleum, these bio-renewable products are derived from renewable, sustainable, and low environmental impact resources such as agricultural and/or forestry materials. In 2014 we plan on testing these products and integrating them into our regular Green Cleaning Program. We plan on stocking a wide supply of these chemicals for our customers to see and experiment with.

Minimizing Waste

In 2014 we plan on introducing a "Minimize Your Waste By Maximizing Your Recycling" campaign. By removing traditional trash cans beneath each desk we would encourage use of one 28-quart recycling bin and a smaller 3-quart mini garbage bin that can hang from the side of the recycling bin. This campaign will build great awareness around recycling and promote personal responsibility.
